I must admit I real dislike stories that have a secret that is held by one of the main character's that last through most of the story. This did just that. The "secret" I figured out after a few chapter's, can't believe everyone else was so blind.This is a clean story with only a few kisses. The romance builds so slowly it was practically non existent. But, the story had some suspense, twists and great secondary character's too.Our H was a patient man and thinking he didn't deserve anything. He helps the h find her voice and that was special watching it unfold.We have no cheating, some villains, no cliffhanger, HEA, an epilogue only 3 months in the future. I can't improve on the blurb, so not trying. Just what you may discover reading it. (ljb)

In a final bid to recoup some of his losses he wagered his daughters hand in marriage and sealed her fate. Or did he? Fate is a fickle lady and you’ll have to read it to see what happens!
I love this series because the main characters are at first broken, but then become whole again through love. This book brings some past periphery characters to the forefront. We learn more about them and get their love story. I highly recommend this series and this newest book.
Ok guys, here we go. This is one fantastic page turning bombshell that grabs your attention from start to finish. You have your whirlwind of emotions and adventures that keep your head spinning. If you can't sink into a good book, its not worth reading. And let me be frank, this is definitely an absolutely amazing tale. The characters are intriguing, complex and realistic. Their personalities and individual qualities that carry them forward and progressed them through the roles created for each one. Well developed, balanced and perfectly relatable. The scenes so vividly detailed. They flowed smoothly and each scene described to perfection that made for a remarkable bockdrop. Varying contrasts added a little spice to the mix for full flavored appeal. Bree definitely knows her stuff. Not a dull moment. I loved the banter and chemistry between the two main characters. All the twists, turns and unexpected surprises kept it fresh and exciting. Bree did a remarkable job bringing this read to life flawlessly. A word of advice my friends, when you grab your copy, pull up a comfy seat, a snack, kick back and relax. You won't be putting this little jewel down for a while. To top it off if you're like me you'll read it again and again. Yes my friends it is that good. Great job Bree, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.I received a review copy of this story.

It is truly another five star read.If you read Betrayed & Blessed and wondered what happened to Matthew Turner – where was his happy ending? – well Destroyed & Restored is his and Lady Adelaide Cartwright's sweet love story. As with her other books, Ms. Wolf allows her interesting characters to make either pivotal or cameo appearances in subsequent stories within a series. Which is what she did with this book. I loved getting reacquainted with Tristan and Beth, and catching up with their love match.I look forward to the next book in Ms. Wolf's Love's Second Chance series.Disclosure: I received a complementary copy of this book via Prolific Works from the author. This one of her best works. So many tough subjects she combines to make one fabulous story. Adelaide lives with her family. The dad is an alcoholic and a gambler. One a losing streak he puts his daughter up as his bet and loses. Thankfully she has friends who intervene and set it up so that she is "won" by Matthew. He soon realized that she came from an abusive household. He had an abusive father so works on being a better man. He has to work on teaching Adelaide that she is stronger than she thinks. She finds out she has a sister which adds another complication. Matthew knows she is hiding something from him which is yet something else that they have to find a way to deal with in their marriage. So many issues and complications to overcome. How they manage to find there way through is worth the read
