This is a great program but I was not sent the entire program. There is no audio transcript and the packaging is not the colorful one that is pictured. I know an audio transcript should come with the disks because I have other Behind the Wheel products. There is just a crudely done photo copy of part of the original packaging, not the colorful one illustrated. The section on Spanish idioms are pretty much wasted without the audio transcript because it is hard to hear exactly what the speaker is saying. Also,at the beginning of disc 5 there is an annoying skip. the disc wants to eject and will eject unless I quickly advance it. I am not complaining about the program itself because Behind the Wheel is excellent for learning Spanish.
A geat way to learn Spanish for those like me who do not have the affinity to pick up languages quickly!
This is an excellent learning tool that gets you speaking Spanish in a short period of time. It's very practical because Mark Frobose targets the high frequency words, phrases, and expressions that are in use by native Spanish speakers.
If you're looking for high-quality, advanced Spanish cds, don't waste your time with these. If you know some basic Spanish and don't have much money to spend, this might be okay. Very basic lessons are repeated endlessly, the same 7-10 verbs are used throughout, and it's almost all in present tense. But the front cover was obviously photocopied and there were some skips and missing tracks.
The set of CDs' that I received appears to be bootleg. The album cover is a black and white photocopy of the color version shown on Amazon. Also, iTunes does not recognize the disks when I import them. Something strange here.
Packaging looks nothing like advertised, as the actual product showed up on my doorstep looking like a bootleg copy. The cover is obviously a photo-copied reproduction of the image shown in the advertisement, hastily cut and stuffed into the CD case. It's pretty disappointing to have ordered such a low quality product from a known and otherwise trusted site.
Excellent program and sequel to Power Spanish I. Bogus reviews must be posted by jealous competitors who can't match the excellence of the Power Spanish series.
