Wonderful page turning action in this story about our 4th Danger Girl. Looking forward to the next in this series and the adventures and new characters (or old favorites) it has in store.
If I could move to Rios Azules, I think I would, but only if I could be a part of the Danger girls. These deeply founded friendships are the epitome of what we should all strive to have in real life. This book kept me guessing and had just the right amount of intrigue to keep me from putting it down. It also makes me want to go back and read the other ones just as a refresher on all the other characters. I can't wait to see what Ms. Verde comes up with next!
A very good story with fantastic characters who continue to grow through each new book in this series. Love this series.

My review today is on the Romantic Suspense, Touch of Danger. This is the fourth book in the Secrets of Rios Azules Series. This book was sent to me by the author. Alexa has become on of my favorite authors. I have so enjoyed this series and I know you are going to love it too. This book is well written, action packed, and full of intrigue. You have to get a copy.Julia Morrison is one of the Danger Girls. She receives a call from Seth Vargus. He tells her he might be disappearing for awhile; he can't tell her why over the phone. She heads for his home; he has been her friend for years. She must be there for him. When she arrives so does his brother Ivan. They enter his home to find his body in a pool of blood. There is a typed note blaming Julia for destroying his life. She refuses to believe he took his life but his brother and the police force blame her. Someone is trying to set her up, but why?Police Officer Ivan Vargus is shocked when they find his brother's body. He has always cared for Julia and it's hard to believe that she could have changed so much and hurt his brother that badly. He was glad she when returned to Rios but now what was he to believe. I have read and loved all the books in this series, but I believe Touch Of Danger is my favorite. Alexa Verde writes of action, suspense, faith, love , and murder. She drew me in right at the start and I was hooked . Alexa Verde did not disappoint. She had me on the edge of my seat trying to read faster to see what was going too happen next. She had me guess on this one all the way to the end. This is Rookie cop Ivan and Julie’s story. A note found at the scene of a dead body blames Julie as the killer. Julie is determined to find the killer, but every which way she goes someone is after her. Will Ivan help her , or does he believe the note? I really love the Danger Girls and how they stick together when one of them needs help. You can just see God working in this story.I was given a complimentary copy of this book , but was not told that i had to give positive review.
Touch of Danger, written by Alexa Verde, is book 4 of Secrets of Rios Azules Series.Once again we get to catch up with the characters of Rios Azules! Yay! I've enjoyed each of these books! Touch of Danger was the kind of suspense that keeps you reading and then wow...not sure I saw that coming! Verde does a great job of bringing in a touch of inspiration without it feeling preachy. I think my favorite character was Julia. She is caring and yet misunderstood and yet still very caring.If you are looking for suspense, romance, and inspiration...I recommend this book and the rest of Rios Azules series. Each book is standalone yet builds upon one another with touches of the Rioz Azules characters cameoing without giving too much away from the other stories. I would recommend these from teen on up.
