Wow. What a lovely book! I am so taken with the exquisite descriptions of the more spiritual dimensions of TCM clinical practice. I am so sad that much acupunture is rote and so entangled with justifying itself with western medicine. Forget that path. What is lacking is the beauty and nuances of treating the spiritual dimensions of suffering. Since all life is rooted in shock and suffering, why not connect with that level in your life and practice? No words to express the beauty of this offering! Great book with some amazing treatments! Much easier to read than nourishing destiny. I rally like the aggressive energy, husband/wife imbalance and akabane treatments. Large section on the meaning of each point on the meridians.
